Chair: Ethan Lecavalier-Kidney
Ethan Lecavalier-Kidney is in his first year of a Political Science degree and is planning on progressing into Law. This is his fourth year year of involvement with HSMUN and his first as a staff member. He has represented Ukraine in WHO, South Africa in FSU and North Korea in Disec in grade 10,11 and 12 respectively. Ethan is deeply interested in cinema and music and plays the saxophone. When he’s not studying or working at the Keg you can find him spending too much money on clothes or listening to podcasts. Ethan is very excited to Chair the Legal Committee this year and looks forward to all the work ahead.
Vice-Chair: Cesar Romero Bringaz
Cesar Romero Bringaz is a third year student currently enrolled in the Honors Physiology program. After participating in the HSMUN event during his senior year in high school, Cesar finally decided to partake in the event and was granted a position as vice chair of the legal committee. His priorities in any event is to ensure everyone is included and is having fun. Despite his responsibilities, he does not solely expect to be a serious individual in this event at all times, so do try to catch him in his usual silly behavior for extra points. His hobbies go as far as playing the guitar and playing sports to playing games (not Fortnite) and relaxing in his room listening to music (seriously ask him about ANY genre). He hopes that his drive and previous knowledge will make this an exciting, fresh experience for both the new and experienced students participating this year.
FPA: Edgar Medina Galicia
Edgar is a Canamex (Canadian – Mexican) Honors Political Science student. He enjoys dancing Salsa, Cumbia and Bachata even though he could use some classes. He functions best under mild stress, listening to Jazz and working at midnight. His topics of interest are economic development, social justice, business and conflict resolution.
One of his favorite quotes:
“Make a career of humanity. Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a better person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in” – MLK
FPA: Jenna Mulji
Jenna is a third year student doing a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Drama. She loves anything to do with books and plants, and her dream world would be one filled with travelling, reading, and her friends. Jenna is really passionate about youth empowerment, and loves to be involved in organizations and student groups that inspire youth to create change in their communities. When she’s not procrastinating her next assignment, you can usually find her drinking tea, watching Netflix, and thrifting oversized, warm sweaters. This is Jenna’s third year volunteering for HSMUN, and she is so excited to meet all of the delegates, and listen to their heated conversations and debates!
