The crisis takes place in the Security Council. As the Security Council is assigned only one topic where most of the others have two, it serves as a second topic. At various points throughout the conference, information in the form of videos and letters will be given to the members of the Security Council which will progress the crisis. It is the responsibility of the Security Council members to attempt a peaceful resolution that will resolve the crisis. Past crises have included a territorial dispute between Congo and Rwanda, a dispute in the Arctic, the dispute over the Senkaku/Diaoyu Islands and a situation in Kashmir.
